The ESI Forum was held in Berlin (Germany) on 6 & 7 November under the topic “Celebrating 40 years ESI in Germany”, uniting the areas of Virtual Performance, Virtual Manufacturing, Virtual Reality, and System Simulation.
In this context, the UPSCALE project joined the discussions on current simulation methods and applications with the presentation “EU UPSCALE project: First steps towards the efficient virtual assessment of battery fire risk for EV crash”.

Both ESI and Volkswagen consortium members were present in this event, disseminating the project to a specialized audience.

During the conference, notorious scientists, industry pioneers, and directors shared their expertise and experiences. From Volkswagen to Airbus, Audi, Kion Group, ThyssenKrupp Steel, Opel, Bosch, and Netherlands Aerospace Center – presented alongside ESI’s teams.
