Kick off meeting of UPSCALE project in Barcelona
The UPSCALE (Upscaling Product Development Simulation Capabilities exploiting Artificial Intelligence for Electrified vehicles) kick-off meeting was held on 8-9th November at F. Iniciativas headquarter in Barcelona. The two-days first meeting was attended by all the partners drawn from across eight European countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom.
UPSCALE, with grant agreement number 824306, is funded under the topic “Building a Low-carbon, Climate Resilient Future: Green Vehicles” of European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. UPSCALE main target is to integrate AI (artificial intelligence) with traditional physics-based Computer Aided Engineering to reduce the development time and increase the performance of electric vehicles (EVs).
During the meetings all issues related to the commencement, management, finance and technicalities of the UPSCALE project were presented and discussed.
The partners engaged in technical discussions during the two days and were committed to the project tasks, as foreseen in the Grant Agreement.
